The Executive Governor of Bayelsa State Senator Douye Diri have proved his humanitarian services to the society, when he directed the commissioner for health to take over the medical bills and treatment of the female victims of the police shooting at Yenagoa the state capital of Bayelsa State Nigeria and when we the wepauhri received complain letter and cry for help from the husbands and relatives of the victims for compensation and we wrote to the executive governor and copied to the commissioner of police, Nigeria Police Force Bayelsa state Nigeria, when the letter got to the executive Governor of Bayelsa state through the commissioner of police bayelsa state and the executive governor Senator Douye Diri compensated the female victims with Millions of Naira through the commissioner of police Bayelsa state and S.A to the governor on security affairs, because we the human rights initiative wrote to the Governor to pay compensation to the victim’s and there is no ENDSARS protest in Bayelsa state Nigeria, because the governor himself senator Douye Diri is good to the youth and the people of bayelsa state Nigeria and mostly the security system of Bayelsa state is grade one and all the security organs in Bayelsa state are excellent in their works. Mr. Kanu the Commissioner of Police Bayelsa state is trying in all ramifications in the security system, he is not relenting he is a good man and S.A to the executive Governor in security affairs is a good man also he always advice the governor for good for what will make peace reign in Bayelsa state Nigeria, we thank God for all his good works in Bayelsa state Nigeria. This proved the more that original peace in Nigeria came from Bayelsa state Nigeria. And this is what prompted us the Human rights organization to prepared an award for the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, the award is titled AMBASSADOR EXTRA ORDINARY FOR PEACE, WELFARE AND SERVICES TO HUMANITY AND THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE BAYELSA STATE MR. KANU AND S.A TO GOVERNOR ON SECURITY AFFAIRS WILL BAGG AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE AND WELFARE, ALL THE AWARDS ARE INTERNATIONAL AWARD.

We pray for all the executive Governors in other state, in Nigeria to emulate the governor of bayelsa state and other people in Nigeria to overflow in peace upon peace.

Bayelsa pick bills of police shooting victims

Bayelsa State governor, Senator Douye Diri, has directed the commissioner for Health to take over the medical bill and treatment of the victims of shooting by the police personnel in the Etegwe/Edepie axis of the state capital, Yenagoa.

This was disclosed by the Attorney-General and commission for justice, Mr. Biriyai Dambo SAN, while briefing the media on the outcome of the third state security council meeting in government house Yenagoa.

On Tuesday some policemen in a patrol van reportedly inflicted injuries on four female traders when they fired shot to clear traffic in the area, which has a market.

The victims were taken to hospital where they are recuperating the governor at the meeting also constituted a seven-member advisory committee on prerogative of mercy.
